The origin of Father’s Day is said to be traced back over 4,000 years back to the ruins of Babylon. There are many theories surrounding various origins, dating back to the early 1900’s, but whatever the date it began, it is a time to for us to reflect and acknowledge all the wonderful things that Dad’s do for us! Not only when we are young and need a strong shoulder and wise words of wisdom. It seems that no matter how old we get we never seem to outgrow our paternal bonds.
So once again, in honour of Father’s Day, we are pleased to offer our annual Father’s Day Brunch in our Dining Car. Brunch seating’s will be available on Saturday & Sunday, June 20th & 21st. Call for reservations. It’s a great buffet that is all you can eat for $22.95.
We are also doing our annual Train Days and Pancake Breakfast. Rates are $10 for Adults and $6 for Children. This has always been a great time for kids of all ages.
Along with our miniature train, model railways set up in the greenhouses, this year we have an extra special attraction! With our new Aspen Crossing Railway, you can now take a one hour train tour through the prairies. Excursions will begin at 10:00 AM and run 4 times a day on Saturday & Sunday.
