COVID 19 - "Stay Calm, Stay Safe and Carry On"
Here at Aspen Crossing we are following the Health Emergency Guidelines. We will still have our regular business hours but our services have slightly changed, to ensure public safety.
At the Tavern we are still open but only for Take-Out or Liquor Off-Sales. Our delectable menu is still available to you for nights you don't want to cook or if you are staying in the campground. Proper physical distancing is mandatory at Aspen Crossing and that includes when waiting for take out. All guests are still asked to wash hands with soap and water upon entering the facility. Staff will continue to wear gloves when handling and packaging food. Sanitizer is available in various locations throughout the establishment. Guest(s) exhibiting any signs of any illness or feeling ill are asked not to use take out services. Call ahead for pick up. 1-403-534-2129. Our menu is online.
The Campground - New Update as of April 9th - 12:45 PM
Effective immediately, closure of all washroom/shower facilities and common use buildings will now be closed to the public (ie: laundry) will not be available.
AHS recommends campgrounds to only allow campers with RV’s that are water and sewage self-contained at this time, in which users would not require any public service building, such as washrooms/showers.
While we are now open, proper social distancing is in effect. We have six foot walking sticks available for our guests to ensure they maintain the proper distance from each other. If in doubt, simply place your stick on the ground and see if you are the proper distance away (one person should be one either end of the stick, any closer and you are breaking the rules).
The playground is closed and roped off. The group facilities are not available for use at this time. The group green spaces are open but proper physical distances are in effect. You may not co-mingle at other guests campsites. Please respect their space and yours. Enjoy the walking paths and open spaces while following social distancing protocols in places.
Check-in is done online and a drop box is available for paperwork from the welcome package (found attached to your "camp site number post" upon arrival). Anything needed like host assistance or take out from the Tavern will be done through phone calls 1-403-534-2129. We also offer grocery drop off service on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Groceries must be ordered 24 hours in advance of delivery date. Failure to comply with any of these rules can result in removal from the campground.
At the Retail Centre we are closed to the public. We are offering online ordering and curb-side pick up.
Caboose Cabins are available and are being given complete sanitary, white glove service. We've added special attention to all touch points, ie: door knobs, remote, light switches, etc.
The Train Excursion schedule has been delayed in starting. The new anticipated start date is July 1st. As a result of this we have implemented a new temporary cancellation policy. If you have tickets for Excursions in May, we will be contacting you shortly to assist in rescheduling or receiving an Aspen Crossing credit. You will receive a full refund in the form of a gift card, that you can use at any of the the Aspen Crossing facilities (dining, shopping, camping, escape room or future train tickets) . We are not processing refunds to original form of payment at this time. If you have not received a call by April 1st, please reach out to us.
Escape Rooms are closed.
All staff in the facilities are watering and maintaining our growing plants in the greenhouses, doing inventory, updating POS systems and some renovation projects. They are all still following the COVID protocols; washing their hands with soap and water every hour, using gloves when touching products. Any one with the slightest symptom of any illness is being sent home until symptoms completely disappear. Any staff returning from travels must complete a 14-day self-isolation protocol before returning to the workplace.
With the above-mentioned practices in place here at Aspen Crossing we look forward to continuing to serve you. Thank you for your support and good health to all.
